To you I don’t know, that’s essentially the question I asked you! Aside from it is or isn’t an option on the census, why is black British fine but black English isn’t?

I’m not saying I have an answer personally, just querying it.

A person is Black British if they're black, and they live in the British Isles (but not Scotland, the Scots do their own census).

Black English isn't a thing. English is listed as a white ethnic group, you can't have Black White.
