The Conservative Party

That would be my suspicion too - it's woolly, and the white paper is going to be scrutinised in minute detail for what it actually says. The NHS has been underfunded for donkey's years, and that's what needs addressing.

If the Labour party oppose the vote, the blustering buffoon will repeat ad infinitum that they voted against funding the NHS. Tell a lie often enough and loud enough....

Just as he lies often and loudly that the Labour voting on Brexit was against something it wasn't.

The problem is Johnson has a 80 seat majority,,, Tory backbenchers have no balls and whatever the white paper says it will get waved through. There will probably be more tax rises in this parliament... someone has to pay for all the cash syphoned off to the PM's friends during the pandemic.

Yes, that is the bigger issue. However, if an aspect gets ripped into really badly, it may become untenable to continue with it.

I think more tax rises will be behind more cuts in a things to do list - hopefully there will be a platform to contest any wrong statistics quoted.

Local authority are usually the best because they don’t have a profit imperative.

I don’t think there are many local authority homes now the best ones have rehab if you can be rehabilitated, but it’s time limited. Then you move into long term care My mum was 94 and we found a great one in Hyde she was one of the lucky ones it was only for a couple of weeks

Two distraction stories from the tax hike.

That **** in education not knowing which sports star he was talking to and the clauses in the Australian trade deal which show they give no fucks about climate change.
