Really?The cap on care doesn’t apply to accommodation costs, which is the bulk of the cost. Kind of like we’ll pay for your breakfast in the morning but not your hotel bed.
Will the cap really fix the social care system?

I am looking at nursing homes in Edinburgh for a relative with rapidly developing dementia.
The cheapest is £1300 a week, or £67,600 a year.
The one she will probably go in is £1700 a week, £88,400 a year.
