The Conservative Party

Just rocked up and said "find me the cuts" - no planning - no suggestions just "lets do it " - he is a fuckwit inside a stupid scarecrows body

How many Downing Street photographers has he appointed?

The tories are talking about the state pension age being raised to 75 years, which, given our declining life expectancy their lack of proper funding of the NHS is having on our health, is probably just about right.

Jacob Reese-Mogg, tory grandee, Brexit Opportunities Minister, and religious fanatic, is probably aiming for 70 years, because three score and ten is all we we should expect from the good book he holds so dear, and the tax cuts resulting from that are too lucrative to ignore.

Mogg was today's media round guy.

apparently 90k is only two years wastage at 38k/year.

Also, when asked about how it is paid for "my job is to identify savings; it's up to the Chancellor to work out how to pay for them"
That'll go down well. His next wheeze will be that ending any kind of benefit system will save money...

That's not going near his "the partygate fines are a non-story because the laws can now be seen as being too strict as they did things liked stopping people visiting dying relatives, and as such breaches of those laws are not that important".

And then there's unelected Lord Frost on NI:

Sinn Fein's victory in last week's Stormont elections and the refusal of the DUP to enter a power-sharing agreement had "forced the Government's hand".

"The Government has no option now other than to act unilaterally to disapply part or all of the Protocol. The Belfast Good Friday Agreement, which the Protocol is supposed to protect, is on life support," he wrote.

So you have an election, and the losers get their way...

And that's without his crass comment about bringing the same determination over supporting Ukraine to overturning the treaty he designed.

Brexit benefit? "We could relax rules on training HGV drivers...."

To deal with shortages caused by losing drivers from the EU?

Someone will be totting up how many of these extra civil servant jobs are because of Brexit, including customs officers and all the people now working on trade deals that used to be done by the EU.

Someone on Sky mentioned the fact that Reet-Smug came with four ‘advisers’ and wondered if some of them would get the push.
