It wouldn't need to be the death of either, they would just need to understand the new landscape and do politics in a less polarised and more conscillatory way.

It would in their current guise, the extremes of both parties (which are pretty large in number) would both split off.

The Scottish Government made an unequivocal commitment to rejoin the EU through independence yesterday. They are certainly calling Brexit for what it is.
