BBC radio interview with one of the Nukes (new Conservatives) saying that if care homes paid enough we wouldn't need foreign workers, and citing how the haulage industry solved the driver shortage by putting up wages (which put up bus driver wages). Would that not have been a cause of high inflation?
The constant direct correlation between paying someone a decent salary and it meaning high inflation really fucking irks me.
