I think it was a sop to the crazy wing of the party but still his choice.

Now the latest idea of abolishing inheritance tax. How many votes will that win in 30p Lee's constituency?

How would it not cause inflation? Or is it only the working poor whose pay rises are inflationary?

Or is it just another scorched earth policy to take £7bn a year from Labour’s national recovery programme?

Hydrant inspections disappeared before my time 20 years ago, however they recently came back as part of inspections for large premises, they don’t go round the streets inspecting them, there’s a whole H&S issue with doing that.

£7 billion cut in revenue to benefit just 4% of the population, mostly in the Blue south where house price inflation has pulled people into IHT. Meanwhile the poor can fuck off expecting a small cut in income tax. There are also a large number of Daily Heil readers who, whilst never in a million years would reach the IHT threshold, think it’s a great idea.
The most blatant attempt to buy the election yet.

Thats why I said distraction - never gonna happen - I'd imagine there would be uproar - God only knows what they could find/unearth that would delay things at great cost. I was there a couple of years ago and the new road system they have with parking and shuttle buses is miles better than it was 20 years ago PLUS the A303 is not the main artery to the South West that it once was
