If they are serial offenders then yes.
People are defending the “non-violent” offenders but these people are ruining lives by dealing illegal drugs. The trail of violence their action leaves, the lives ruined as a result of their actions and the sheer selfishness means they deserve it all.
Cheap point about your mother, she’s British, this is Britain.
It’s not a ‘cheap point’ it’s an example of a person, at young age moving countries then being punished twice. As well as their family
You have more in common with the deported than those doing the deporting. But as long as you stay on the side of those doing the deporting they can do what they like
You will continue to justify their behaviour until it’s you. Everyone is an ‘other’ until it’s you. But guess what, you will then be an ‘other’ - whether it’s deportation, changes to your rights as a worker, the benefit system etc. Take your pick
But one day, to a greater or lesser extent, it will be you and yours
You might sleep better tonight because one drug dealer has been sent to the other side of the world. But don’t pretend it’s been done to make the country safer
