One of our local MPs, John Hayes (South Holland and Deepings), writes a column for the local rag occasionally. His latest missive included the following:-

“Whatever the validity of President Trump’s claims about vote rigging - and, given the Democrats’ history, he may have legitimate grounds for suspicion - what’s done is done.”

WTF??

Let me guess which party he belongs to......

Good news folks.
Tories are giving us an extra bank holiday in 2022 to celebrate Liz's platinum jubilee over an extended four day weekend!
Vote Tory!
Tempting fate a bit for our 94 year old monarch to make it to 96. I suppose the alternative would be a bank holiday for the coronation.

Must be like the closing scenes of Downfall in no 10 at the moment - the one I am most worried for is Dilyn - the rest are twats as far as I am concerned

I’d rather have her and the monarchy than President fucking Boris.

My view always which is contrary considering my politics. I do struggle with the concept of you are what you are by dint of birth but the idea a " President of the United Kingdom" would be better and less expensive is beyond me. It is what it is.

Its becoming clear to me that with the number of Brexit campaigners now running the country, that covid response has taken a back seat. It would explain a lot of this shit we've been having - where we can all see whats coming next with covid but our govn cant - They're thinking only about Brexit

And *this*is all can come up with? 12 months, an 80 seat majority and 100% focus and all we've got is a lorry park in Kent and business still in the dark whilst being in the frame to take the blame?

Cummings off, Farage chasing dinghies and trying to blame Biden as to why Brexit won't be a success. They can see the writing on the wall - Come May next year when the Party can pin Brexit on Johnson and his crew they will jettison him, the circa 60 thousand dead from the appalling handling of CV will be added ammo

It's fucking tragic that this shambolic government - which has to go down as the worst in living memory - has, since its earlier incarnation originally got elected in 2010 has achieved the following:
- Austerity for longer than any other comparable country
- Spaffed multiple billions on taking us out of the world's largest trading bloc to make us poorer and less relevant in the world
- Been responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands more people than would have happened had they been competent and learned the lessons of countries hit earlier
- Set the scene for the break up of the UK union
- Told the world that we are a country that will break international law under certain circumstances to make us a partner not to be trusted

If Cameron, May and Johnson couldn't point to their own incompetence as an excuse, they should be tried for treason.

It's just a crying shame that the opposition during this whole period has been utterly ineffectual and totally incapable of providing an alternative vision for the country that would have been palatable to a majority.
