The Queen's birthday and games at Wembley are the occasions we do do these things, we've always done them when the occasion merits, what we have never done is everyday all the time, and you know it.

No pal, you don't know it. Each and every day thousands of tourists view the military at the Queens residence, each and every day there is a military ceremony. Which sort of may give the impression it's done regularly, but as you hate the country, monarchy, tradition, you probably haven't noticed.

The Red Flag is a socialist song, emphasising the sacrifices and solidarity of the international labour movement. It is the anthem of the British Labour Party, why wouldn't they sing it at the end of their conference?

Refer to my previous post, your party isn't really socialist, I know you'd love it to be, red in tooth and claw an' all that jazz, so why are they singing it,
surely it's dated, a bit like Rick Astley?

However, I think since Corbyn and his mob were around, the left have hated all this sort of thing. All of a sudden, even though Britishness is a key feature of the Labour Party, the left are “internationalists” these days, some consider themselves “European” and love all the EU iconography and flag, and in some instances are actually anti-British.

But they do embrace Socialism AC .... They use the NHS when they fall ill, , take their annual jollies to Spain for a couple of weeks, claim on the sick if they're unable to work, they send their kids to higher education at the age of 11 rather than work, they take a couple of days off each week (usually called weekend) . They go to work knowing that they will be working in a reasonably safe environment and entitled to compensation if injured. If they lose their job through no fault of their own they will receive support (inadequate but still support). When they retire they will receive some level of pension (inadequate but still ) and access to free public transport.

This is the 'safety net' that socialism has provided and everyone uses. None of it has been provided by the party you support.
