The worry is they install a new leader and manage to convince enough of the country that Johnson (and a few key allies) were the problem, and now it's back to good old British conservatism. They had their chance to get rid of him with a VONC and didn't, despite overwhelming evidence of his unsuitability for any post, let alone PM. They have set this country back decade's with their infighting and pompous belief in a ruling class. The party needs to wither and die.
