Ugh, no thanks - as others have said, I'll be surprised if Ferguson was considered given his background.

There are plenty of people from the areas they want to use as a mask for the honours for votes plan without needing to stretch too far.

The funding was from Government .... strategy used to be stockpile whilst cheap and release when expensive (obviously) ... the companies dont care as they just charge us whatever they like.

You must remember how privatisation works

1/ sell something that the public owns to "the public"
2/ ensure that "public" that now owns it is a large corporation ( with Conservative leanings )
3/ sell the profits to this new "public" but retain any liabilities and costs in the ownership of the Govt - ie all the risks remain with the real public
