The Conservative Party

Why do you hate him more than Nigel Farage, Richard Tice and Lee Anderson?
I don't think any of the above are out and out liars. Nor steaming hypocrites, nor evil.
lets all smoke whatever she is smoking

What a ludicrous article, totally misrepresenting what she said.

What she actually said was that "she faced a “huge establishment backlash” (which is true), and that she was sabotaged by a civil service packed with ”trans activists and environmental extremists.” (which is also true).

Is it remotely surprising a nonsense rag with the political credibility of the Beano, should try to dress up this story? No.

Cleverly just called Starmer and Farage two faces of the same coin.

So the Tories have anyone capable of leading that's not a bullshitter?

No, they hollowed out their party through a combination of vicious in-fighting and pursuing intellectually bankrupt ideas that were against the interests of the majority of the population; meaning that anyone sane either legged it or was chucked overboard. Their extremists made a much better fist of entrism than any Trot ever managed in the 80s!

Rees Smug telling delegates they should embrace Farage is the way they may go. Whoever wins the race maybe keeping the seat warm for that ****.

Tell me you're in a cult without actually saying the word ''cult''

Do you have any concept of just how wildly bizarre it is, having crashed the economy through unfunded tax cuts, to think it's true that she was sabotaged by a civil service packed with ”trans activists and environmental extremists.”

It was the markets of the City of London that brought down her through her own economic illiteracy. I will wager that the Venn diagram of bond traders and trans activists has a very, very small crossover!

The obsession with people's genitals is just weird.

''Now people are joining the Civil Service who are essentially activists, they might be trans activists, they might be environmental extremists, but they are now having a voice within the Civil Service in a way I don’t think was true 30 or 40 years ago, so we just have a wholly new problem,” she said.

I know you like news organisations that make shit up but don't start doing it yourself.

Looks like we’ve got an inspiring Tory party ahead.

Either BadEnoch who’s running on getting civil servants imprisoned and making government subservient to the markets, or Jenrick with has amateur version of rehashing culture wars.

Joy.

It’s slim pickings when Cleverley looks the least mad. Obviously he won’t get the job though.
