The Conservative Party

How?

I doubt many on minimum wage can.

I think the clue is in the name of the organisation reporting it - an awful lot who will be saving will be saving a pittance via a workplace pension that they haven't opted out of. As long as you earn over £10k a year you have to be offered one.

In Govt - "we need to build more hoses "
in opposition - "but not in my constituency"

MPs tend to oppose development in their patch to support (appease) existing residents. But when the houses are built they'll go knocking on the new doors and won't say "I opposed building your home".

I think tonight any thoughts of a Johnson comeback as leader is dead. Any constituency foolish enough to approve him as their prospective candidate would be mad - and also not a safe seat anyway

That Telegraph headline is a belter.

Talk about playing down the wrong line (intentionally)!

Thought there would be more discussion about the results of the Covid enquiry.
As an electorate we are something else. Have we learned nothing from Johnson and gang about what happens when an entitled lying grifter is put in to run the country. Now we have Farage leading all the opinion polls. We deserve whatever we get.

Hopefully Johnson and one or two others of that government are prosecuted and jailed.

Just cannot see Farage getting anywhere near no10
