I thought they both had. But I could be wrong.

Bloody disgusting the way they come up with the offer figures, using land value rather than turnover. Mickey must be fuming.

You say that, but land value at present, will be worth more than the turnover of a once-a-fortnight pay day.

Mary Ds lease won't be worth paper it is written on in few more weeks, if Sunday was anything to go by, especially with a charge for entrance.

Suppose only went due to proximity to ground, but anywhere close and decent.

And don't charge £3.70 a pint for shit.

When you look at what will be on offer in 3-4 years then its happy times again IMO

City Sq is the testbed for things to come.

I for one would prefer a nice bistro with a steak sandwich and some lagers in summer and then a nice mince and dumplings and a pint of OP in winter ;-)

Please don't anyone equate drinking in Mary D's with being a proper City fan... They make a small fortune out of us Blues but still serve watered down shit beer and constantly flout the law re showing games while surrounded by Dibble... Had it coming for a while IMHO.

Good riddance.

Cornershop, across from the Merc garage there is a road, straight down there. About a 2 minute walk to the ground.

Lovely pub. Owned and run by rags but they are sound.

Maybe because every 2mins its..

"U.N.I.T.E.D, that spells....."

"Who the f*ck are Man Utd...."

"Who's that dying....."

Went in the mary d's yesterday and your right its just fading away, but my dad and his mates went further down the road to some pub i cnt remember the name of it but its just a minute walk down the long road and he said it was fantastic!

If that's true about them collecting money on false pretence it's a fuckin disgrace!! The landlord should try getting his hand in his pocket he must have made a small fortune down the years!! What is a difibulator anyway??

Eastlands? One of Mickey Francis' places?

Some fit birds behind the bar last year ;-)

Cant stand the place, and have been told the guy who owns it is a Rag. 2 reasons not to drink in the place.

As above. Personally i think all the boozers near the ground are shite. Easier to stay in town until the death and go on from there.

Agreed - gotta love the shambles...

I used to go Mary D's a lot and I agree it is now rubbish. Went in on Thursday night and turned around before even getting a drink it was so shite.

Eastlands bar is great.Mickey Francis place. Loads of big TV's showing the game, great memorabillia on the wall. Proper pub atmosphere rather than one big room.

DJ on as well.

Yes, several fit birds knocking about too. Also a large area out the back too.
