The Derby Post Match Thread

If we were to be honest, we learned very little today – we already knew that:

• Most other PL teams have more balls and more desire than us thus season
• Manuel has been out thought by Burnley, Crystal Palace and out engineered by the Tactical Turtle
• When we are losing, Manuel’s only answer is to throw on Lampard
• Vincent is too often not the man for the big occasion – just as likely to get sent off as to help us, that’s not leadership
• Mancini didn’t have a great season after the PL win – but he did secure second place ant take us to a Wembley final. Manuel took us out of the cups like pussies and has turned us into Europa League fodder
• At least Manuel got off his ass and actually stood in the technical area today – more than he could be arsed to do at Burnley

Bye Manuel (or we are truly fucked)

Eventually players like Aguero and Silva will simply leave. Those two can walk into almost any side they want. And for too long they've been surrounded by mediocrity.

They simply won't. The club will regroup in summer.

Aguero is no team player. One of his worst performances ever. He doesn't know when to stop and to play with the partner
Really?
At least he f*****g tried!!!

Just abject second half performance. To be honest from their first goal there was a discernible drop in the performances of too many of our players. Either they bottled it or couldn't be arsed. Either way unbelievably depressing.

No point in talking about United's offside goals because nobody will really give a fuck after a second half like the one we put in.

Smells like shit for Pellegrini. Has lost control of the situation in much the same way his predecessor did just for different reasons.

Players don't give a shit... Can't blame pelle fully for that!

That's entirely his fault. He's here to manage them for fucks sake. If he can't manage to get them motivated he should be sacked. If he can see that they don't give a shit, but still picks them anyway he should be sacked. If he can't see they don't give a shit..........he should be sacked.......

Erm... You ok mate. Taken all the correct meds today?

A totally gutless display, I feel fuckin sickened. This has been coming for a lot longer than most people will realise. We sacrificed our defensive solidity for an all out Kamikaze attack philosophy which has led us to where we are today.

Cue, other clubs suss us out and we have no defensive organisation to fall back on.

Why was Milner playing where Silva should have been?

Why was Yaya allowed to just stoll around the pitch without MP doing something about it? He was an absolute liability today.

We were done by ManUre's energy, desire and will to win. What makes matters worse is yet again we were out manouvered tactically but this time by the Tactical Turtle?

What happens with Pellegrini from here on in is up to tbose in charge, but something needs to happen soon as Manchester City Football Club seem like a club in limbo. We need to either stick & tell MP what his stubborness has caused us or twist and end this damaging period in our recent history.

Abysmal, we must hang onto 4th and go again in the summer. Few players need to go. Visible lack of desire after the equaliser. Losing in such a manner might focus a few minds at the club , all is not rosy and it can't be glossed over anymore.

Neville and the Sky chaps quite right about our attitude after the 2nd goal....shocking really, watching them all ambling back to the half way line, just 2 down with 5 minutes to go against 10 men....not one of them ran back looking to get the game started again..says it all
