The end of chip shop gravy?

Should ban all polystyrene/plastic food containers. A lot just get thrown away and blow around in the wind, hedgerows, rivers etc. It looks a bloody mess and the damage it does to wildlife... Biodegradable paper/cardboard is the way forward, at least they will rot.
I thought chip shop gravy was sold by the slice anyway...
But when Prince Charles suggested that 30 years ago everyone laughed at him.

You should be fucking shot for using such a heartbreaking title, that's akin to it saying your mum is dead and the rest saying lucky at the bingo, panic over ffs my heart rate is now returning to normal

Once had chicken in a basket in a pub in Leeds, that came with Gravy. Didn't end well tbh

why ? plenty of non plastic and biodegradable take a way trays exist made from bamboo or palm sugar, what needs to hapen is cost come down at present a poly tray is about 1p-8p each an enviromentaly friendly on 21p-47p before VAT which is why many catering businesses still go plastic
The problem with the fish and chip shop sector is that it’s a low margin race to the bottom for 90% of the businesses. From the oil, to the ‘vinegar’ through to the packaging, cost is the most important factor for most takeaways, especially with the present cost of white fish and oil.
