The end of chip shop gravy?

The problem with the fish and chip shop sector is that it’s a low margin race to the bottom for 90% of the businesses. From the oil, to the ‘vinegar’ through to the packaging, cost is the most important factor for most takeaways, especially with the present cost of white fish and oil.
Yeah I know, we moved over to full composstable disposables for any take away we would sell as part of a sustainablilty commitment, but after covid and the present food shortages/price hikes we went bck to cheap alternatives as otherwise we would need to add the cost onto the customer

Has anyone eaten the edible coffee cup they use at City's stadium? The Chippy could serve gravy or curry in them

We should all be forced to carry mess tins and canteen cups if we want food outside of our house. Imagine the tram on the way home for a match it would be as noisy as fuck.
