The end of chip shop gravy?

Best chips and gravy at the moment is Kong's on Market Street in Hyde and back in the day Chow's on Park Road in Timperley, wonderful stuff.
 
Yep. Why can you buy an artisan rustic pasty at a food market with a card but a chippy with 1000x the turnover is cash only?
Cash can go into any bank account (or not as the case may be). Credit/ debit card accounts are more regulated.
 
Controversial take maybe but I’m firmly of the opinion that all chippies basically taste the same.

Not like they all have their own secret recipe is it.
