The fan who jumped on Haaland

People are right to kick off about this. There is a very good reason why Haaland missed all those chances and kept falling over in the penalty area. Watch the penalty again. Just before he takes it, Alfies lad can be heard saying to Bernardo that he didn't want to take it, Bernie asks him why and he clearly says 'well if I score I'm worried a big boy will jump on top off me'.

Unless there's a surge literally forcing him over the barriers there's really no excuse for it. Above all else it's just stupid, you're going to get a lengthy ban for it. there's no way that's ever worth missing a few seasons of city. Imagine missing witnessing a back-to-back treble because you wanted to touch Haaland.

He could learn this song for his court date. If one of the magistrates used to be a David Cassidy fan he might have a chance

There wasn't and there are two barriers, the wall in front of fans, a four yard gap, then the advertising screens to get over.

Ha ha brilliant. Fuck them all, that's why I have no time for fans of any other clubs. The majority are just brain dead jealous morons who have been brainwashed by the media. All they do is trot out the usual charges, oil money and cheats shite. Long may we continue to break their hearts. Scum!!
There were several Villa fans in my bar none of whom celebrated the equaliser. I was gabbing to most of them so they probably thought it’d be rude

The rational viewpoint here is, what he did was wrong because at the end of the day he broke the rules. Now the fact that it was a joyous and excited fan who was embraced by Haaland himself, does make the situation better. However, clubs dont want to set a precedent where its ok to go on the pitch and jump on players under the justification of doing it out of pure love and passion. Personally, I think Haaland himself might ask the club not to punish him.
I sincerely hope that that doesn't happen. Simply because that would set off another round of media outrage against City.

All clubs are trying to stop people going on the pitch.
