not arguing that its windy in the stadium at the moment, but if the winds got worse then it would affect things within the stadium if the game went ahead, hence one of the reasons, why the game was called off.
it was common sense to decide not to go myself tonight because of the forecast earlier in the day.

Fair enough, you are excused. ;-) Just pointing out that it wasn't stupid to go to the game tonight in expectation that there would be a match. It might well have been stupid for reasons of personal safety however... Have we ever had a game postponed an hour before kick off at the Etihad?
