Ukip policies? Immigration and getting out of the eu,i dont recall hearing of anymore policies from them. Im also not sure how many ex labour they have attracted,i personally know several ex tory that have moved across as they seem to be tory ultra right wing? For what its worth i dont see them making a dent at the ge, they are a by election party,a protest vote at best and like it or not,they are full of racist scum which will shine through.

According to a Guardian survey in November, about 23% of people who say they will vote UKIP at the next general election used to vote Labour.

Well it's working-class people who experience the downsides of immigration.

Do not presume that you speak for the majority of free thinking people and then use that as validation of your opinion. Your opinion that your opinion is an opinion shared by everyone else is...just an opinion. It holds no merit or truth and can be easily disregarded.

Poll after poll has shown that the majority of people in this country do not share your views, and that's not even counting those who have remained silent on the entire issue. Sorry my friend, but from what I have observed, yours is a minor, albeit loud and often inaccurately repeated, view.

No offence mean't, but it's precisely that sort of arrogant, self righteous, and smug attitude that is allowing UKIP to gain ground and avoid having to debate policy. It's time to wake up and accept that sadly 'having a pint and a fag' actually appeals to a broad dissafected portion of the electorate and the mainstream parties are losing ground all the time. It's over-egging it a bit to compare the rise of UKIP to National Socialism in 1930's Germany, but we would do well to pull our heads out of our arses and demand more of the current center-right Tory-lite big three parties than the current name-calling and denial.

Its not arrogance...mate,its informing as many people as possible what ukip are all about,who runs it,who funds it and the underlying racist element that prevails. Its as right wing and establishment as it gets and if that is the only alternative to the main parties I'll stick with that thanks.

I don't honestly think you are informing anyone tbh, just repeating the tabloid smear type stuff about personalities, while it's policy that should be pulled apart. I'm sure there are some appalling folk involved with all the parties, and UKIP seem to have the lions share, but name calling is clearly not working.
