Leicester winning the league for me. Came out of nowhere. Saying that what we have achieved this year under sustained pressure has also been remarkable

Forest winning the league and then two European Cups betters their East Midlands rivals IMO but it's all rather subjective.

MCFC going from the third tier of English football to being arguably the greatest English team ever domestically in the space of 20 years is some achievement.

Greatest achievement until the scousers win tonight. To win the Champions League with 11 players all either from the youth squad or free transfers, and with all of them born within 3 miles of Anfield, 8 of them actually to play whilst the other 3 get expenses only is surely a better rags to riches story than nasty City winning the treble for the first time in English history given every player in our team cost 250 million+ and all players were signed at their absolute peak whilst they are only playing for us because of the money

If a couple of other teams not too far away that play in red had done it you’d never hear the end of it there’d be miles of column inches in news papers be all over social media for months books written and tv documentary’s made but as it was us it was swept under the rug after 24 hours and we’re getting transfer bans and champions league bans as well I’m seriously falling out of love with football I’ll always love city but the the whole game just seems corrupt and geared up to protect certain clubs

I certainly doubt it. I would have Leicester in 2016 above us to be fair, City had won more in a row the year before so it wasn't entirely unexpected.

I bet here are hundreds of similar examples.

But when you consider that the two runs you mention (18 & 14 matches) are the two longest runs within a season in the entire history of top-flight English football, going back to the 1800s ... then I think our achievement is a little more impressive than you imply?

lets just break this down ????????

manchester city had the most player at the world cup ?? and we asked them to come back early and play in the community shield and we won it ??? then the league cup and champions league football mixed together for the early part of the season and having to play saturday and midweek games and we won the groups stages of the champions league and went on to win the league cup ??? for the 2nd part of the season again champions league knockout games and FA cup games mixed in with the premier league and then the run in with liverpool having a right old fight for the premier league title and we end up winning 14 games on the trot to win the premier league and then the FA cup

great achievement is the wrong words ??? super humans are the right words

Brian Clough. What he achieved at Derby and then Forest was simply unbelievable. What an absolute legend of a man.

Let's not forget as well, City beating every team in the league in consecutive seasons, not been done since Preston in the 1890s, we are the greatest premier league/ first division team ever.
