Maradonna blew when he stuck God in.

Cryuff was driven, athletic, intelligent, proper footballer..could tackle, run at pace, shoot and cross, always remember Keegan talking about him playing in Pat Rice's testimonial..keegan had recently been european footballer of the year and was a seasoned international....he said he was shocked (refering to Cryuff) to discover someone could run with the ball and look around at his options fast than he could run to simply get a tackle in on him.

Charlton...belonged to that King Colin Northumberland understatment movement, whilst Georgie's shimmy in the ECF fooled the goalie well enough and is well eulogised whenever the match is mentioned ....what is not mentioned is the two technical goals that Charlton scored wth such aplomb..both times hes not even looking at the goal and left the goalie little option but to stand open mouthed...class act.

Best...did you ever see anybody sneak up behind him and nick the ball...he knew exactly where every player was without looking.

i can remember best having to many blinders against tony book

You've got to remember that this was in the 70's when everything, including motor cars, were much, much slower.

No one comes close to Maradona.

He won the League with Napoli in what was a relatively poor team, and won World Cups for Argentina.

The effect he had on the teams he played in can be measured by trophies

agreed, napoli had never won seria a, they won it twice with maradona.

and the 86 world cup, anyone name the rest of the team, without the aid of google ?

Nery Pumpido, Jose Luis Brown, Jorge Burrachaga, Jorge Valdano, Julio Olarticochea, Claudio Borghi, Pedro Pasculli, Oscar Garre, Ricardo Giusti, Nestor Sensini,

No Help Needed, do I get a prize???
