The Harry and Meghan fuss

Who said it was the best they can come up with? I'm not even saying they are involved.
I said that it could be way to cast doubt on his version of events without officially responding.
He also said Meg paid for first class tickets for her dad on New Zealand airways.
New Zealand Airways have just responded by saying there is no first class tickets as stated in the book.
Are New Zealand Airways in league with the Royal family now?

I'm sure people will be digging to find more errors.
That doesn't mean he isn't telling some truths. I can well believe a lot did happen.
I question what he thinks he will get out of this.
Lot's an lots of Yankee dollars to continue the Harry and Megan reality TV crusade.

Kim should have worn a crown.

This is such a classic example of why the debate around H+M is so unbearable.

Does it actually matter if he misremembered the exact airline?

Does it matter if Air NZ only do Economy, Business and Business Premier, not first class?

If you were listening to someone tell this story about how his wife had to tell her dad to pack up and fly home because she just got engaged to a prince and the media are going to be on his doorstep, would you tell them that you thought every story they ever told was bullshit and unreliable because an inconsequential detail like the specific name of the class of seat was slightly off?

No, and if you did, everyone would think you're a massive bellend.

But because it's this bullshit about Royals, there's an army of tabloid hacks combing through every word to try and find a tiny continuity error to convince their readers that all the bad things in the book are wrong because after all how can you trust someone who mixed up first class and "business premier" class?
If this is what the book is about I am glad to give it a wide birth.

On a more serious note the bloke is clearly still grieving for the loss of his mother and hasn't yet been able to compartmentalise the event unlike his elder brother.

He comes across as bitter and unhappy and while it might be just a front if its not I hope he becomes a good father and leaves the bashing over the airwaves to the past and moves on before he lets it rot in his mind and soul.

Clearly not in a happy place at present but hopefully he will see the futility of his crusade eventually.

No, people jumping on this book like it's a revelation of the truth are effectively claiming that.

The inconvenient truth behind “his truth”.

He accuses people of saying things yet admits to not remembering dialogue verbatim. It’s a good job he had a ghost writer to sex it up.

Still, at least I can take what he says about the carpets and furniture for granted and as gospel.

I don't think this is terrible or unusual - approved biographies written while the subject is still alive will always present them in a favourable light rather than try to get to the truth.
Getting mixed up with where he was when he heard the Queen Mother had died is an error but a totally irrelevant one that doesn’t present him in a more favourable light. Same goes for the NZ Airways snippet.

How the press can have the cheek to resort to such nit-picking when large swathes of the cunts have been guilty of deliberately lying and - in the case of the Taliban topic - deliberately stripping away the context in order to present him in a LESS favourable light is beyond me.

It's because the press are scum and parasites - but of course H better than perhaps anyone knows this, and tragically carries on playing the game because it's either all he knows or all he has to sell. As soon as you do the posh TV shows, the books, the celeb circuit etc, the gutter press will be there to pick holes and shoot you down unless you do a seedy symbiotic deal with their 'royal correspondents' like the senior royals. Of course that in itself is a Faustian pact, so not sure H can win really.

Always good to know you can turn to your family
