Not individually mate but as a race we do zilch to enhance the lives of every other part of the flora, fauna and eco systems of the planet.... That's an undeniable fact, unfortunately.

Then there are naturalists and conservationists.
The problem with much of the human race stems from greed and selfishness.
Thankfully, not everyone is motivated by these base urges.

Wars and disease have always kept a lid on rising human numbers but since most disease is now curable and Nuclear weapons tend to stop mass war, the numbers are getting too big. It wouldn’t surprise me if we have some incurable diseases suddenly springing up in places that the developed world don’t give a fuck about to keep it under control.

When you look at how chimpanzees behave and then look at ourselves, it’s easy enough to see.

We’re just a more intelligent version of them but just as violent, just as aggressive and just as selfish.

Our difference is huge though, we don’t behave as a whole like they do...

Apart from vets tending naturally ill or wounded animals, naturalists and conservationist wouldn't be needed if we hadn't messed it all up, nature can and does look after herself. Only our extinction will save the earth, or what's left of it.
