The "I'm not going to the final" thread

I cant go :(
I have a nearly 11month old little girl who is a mummys girl
Plus boyfriend wouldnt look after her due to the fact he hates football etc..
So i guess situation is the opposite way around (female wants go. Male kicks off)
Xx

I'll be watching it here in Denver surrounded by Blues in our home pub "The Armoury".

If any blues will be in Denver, let me know and I'll make sure you have a place to watch the match.

-- Thu Apr 25, 2013 6:49 pm --

Think you need to re-think the relationship status then. Something is just not right.

Ok. Please tell me I am not on my own. Now I am 95% certain I won't be at wembley due to my wife going on a hen do In Leeds and I promised I would have the kids. The 5% possibility is dependent on the mother in law.

To say I am gutted is an understatement. I have been giving it "you go and have a loveley time" etc etc yest deep down I am really pissed off.

Looking at the kick off time and potential nightmares for getting home I am sort of happy I can at least watch it on tv but these are the days we have craved for so long and I am having to miss it. Sick as a chip..

Anyone else in my boat?

just buy a few bags of crisps and a bottle of coke and nip out for 12 hours
no one will notice a thing
just remember to hide your ticket

a mate of mine on a sat, nipped out to the shops to buy some cigs, a couple of his mates said they was going to blackpool for night and he went with them until sunday afternoon

This, whether he likes football or not, could he not look after her?

You're not alone mate. I'm exiled in the Midlands which basically means I don't get to enough games and I never accumulate the points to buy a ticket (which is fair enough). It just pisses me off the number of tickets that go to corporate and the fact that a lot of them don't turn up on the day.

I do fancy the idea of going up to City square and having a few pints whilst watching on the screen. I hope they're doing that this year

5000 short of full on SemiFinal day. Those tickets could have been given away!

cant go to the final, sons birthday week before (junior Blue PMSL). However having a big blue party. Got massive hotdogs and loads of beer in, playing city esque tuneage all day before the game, got the game on a 50 inch tv with surround sound and hopefully celebrating us winning the FA cup

all invited
