The improvement in Zabaleta

I'm starting to think it's got to be borderline psychotic how committed he is to City and winning matches at any cost. The heart of a lion banner needs making about 20 times bigger.

Needs must. And Bob made the right decision tonight. Savic simply cannot be trusted, so it had to be either Micah or Zab at CB (and Zab hasn't got the build for that role).

No Micah was unbelievable tonight and i felt good he was there as Savic should never start im just saying Micah should always be are RB when are 2 main CB are available
Agreed 100%. I was simply on about the unique situation tonight, when both our first choice CBs were out injured. Hopefully at least one of them will be back for the constant barrage of high balls at St(j)oke.

i always trusted Micah tonight i started a thread on him and it got merged. The unique situation did mean he played CB and i think in a few years he could easily be there for us. Zaba was like a rock tonight "tackle me woman you will bounce off me" seemed to be his motto

Zabaleta has been great for 2.5tyrs you f@@kwit, threads like this annoy me, OP clearly dosnt watch us..

He is an absolute warrior.

110% this. Zaba bleeds for Blue cause and his work rate is off the charts. The man makes goals happen and defends superbly.

Really glad he signed an extension this year to stay on with us longer!

You always know what your going to get when you play zaba, absolute grit and determination and tenacious defending. His crosses though delivered with finesse leaves a lot to be desired.
