The Irish Trio

Dunne deserves a standing ovation in my eyes. A big round of applause as well for the other two. Both of whom had far more good games than bad.

Totally and utterly agree, Dunnie is still my hero and as far as I am concerned he is a City legend. I hope that he does come back to us in some capacity in the future. He will get the standing ovation from me on Saturday for sure.

Shay was unlucky to get that shoulder injury, who knows what might have happened if he had kept up his good form without the injury.

Stevie is just a mixed up kid still. He gave his all for us and didn't want to leave. As someone else has said he never said anything against the fans and he was our Superman for a while.

All three were part of the growth of our club and deserve to be treated with respect.

As long as we beat them that is fine by me!!

Unfortunately I'm working and none of the cunts at work will cover me, so can't get over to this game :( but I'd cheer all three all played significant roles for us including stevie, he was handled wrong both by us and by his own representatives who misled him, I mean he's a kid at the end of it all have any of us had any sense at that age ? Anyway yeah I don't hate any of them and will always appreciate what they did for us.

Some supporter u are scorer.

All 3 genuinely gave a shit about doing well for us.

Would u rather 11 mercs?

Or is it an anti Irish thing?

Thought givens professionalism whilst he was on the bench was second to none.

The bench....hmmmm yes precisely.

He could have moaned. He didn't
He did, a bit, but it was understandable. He's a top goalie, a bit of a legend in many quarters. He's proven himself over and over, so he's entitled to think he's worth more than a bench spot.

I'm under no illusions that he is cheering us on, I think he probably doesn't think that fondly of us. But as far as I remember he left without the parting salvo, which I appreciate, and admire (because it takes a bigger man to realise there's nothing to be gained apart from self-gratification and souring anything positive left in the relationships).

Dunne, hmm. Great servant, but I don't really understand him as a person. 29 year olds ought to know a bit better. If you have a problem with the manager or the CEO, then take it up with them. By making it a public thing, surely he has to realise it's going to hurt the fans, the majority of whom worshipped him.

I agree about Ireland, as far as I'm concerned he was a mixed up kid, but surely has learned the hard way, the very hard way. All is forgiven and forgotten in my book. I just want to see him doing his stuff again.
