one thing i noticed was that garrido was taking corners from the left. whats the point in him taking them, when he aint really guna be starting many games?? thoughts please.

our corners really bug me
swp cant cross a ball so why is he taking corners...and garridos were poor as well...imo corners should be inswingers too...as a keeper i hate inswingers as any touch at the near post usually results in a goal...no chance with outswingers

too pissed to write anything yest so here ya go.
day started with an escort to a rundown shithole which was a sports centre which served beer and dog burgers with the only chairs in there being four in the middle of the room! regulars outside flogging tevez t-shirts etc.then into the hole that is barnsley fc.
minutes round of applause and a version of theres only one bobby robson.
game started crowd excited...15 mins later all was quite and the adrenaline rush seem to have died a bit.
city passed and passed and passed and passed and tried strolling the ball into the net looked good at times but pass overkill and seem to lack ideas when it came to the final 3rd!(of all places!)
anyway bonuses were mcgivern and weiss both looking like they can do a job..seen a few off here although didnt fancy saying hi,im betty swollocks!haha
another good away day and was nice to be in the mix again(secretly kept thinking everyone had swine flu though!)
no tick for b`burn got to work so itl be a while till my next one.

Had a quality day yesterday ( what I can remeber)
Started with 8 cans of 1664 at picc, then got off train at Stockport, had couple in Mcdonalds car park, then went weatherspoons up road, back on train, made Andrew Conductor get a dirty r*d to pay for his ticket, got off at Sheffield but didnt gret to drink my pint sold it to a blackburn fan for £2.50, picked me bag of beer up that i left next to the fountain's. Back on train to Barnsley with a football beachball too.
Walked from Barnsley station to metro place, then it started to get a weee bit hazy, had dodgy pint in metro place and spent 2nd half on bogs, not pleasant at all, once all cleard up, train to sheff and few pints in the big white pub and then a few pints in town, good day all round.

Game covered elsewhere but other posters.
Stopped at Compo's chippy in Holmfirth on the way, watched some blonde bird sneeze on a plate of fish and chips for the restaurant. Served by someone else (sausage & chips) & (chips and gravy). She put the gravy in a pot and the chips in paper told her I wanted the gravy on the chips. Priceless reply 'I can't do that it'll make the paper soggy' Said I'd just leave it then and walked out.
In the ground 14.00-14.30 saw a strange woman on the half way line waving every 30 secs for 30 sec periods towards the City fans.
Had a laugh at the pricks in the Barnsley Family Stand. The two at the front, white coat man and a special mention to the knob in the sky blue tracksuit top who when Barnsley scored climed onto the wall and nearly fell off causing him to shit himself.
Also had 3 60 years old women next to me who brought butties for pre match and half time as well as proper tea mugs for their flask. The lads behind were taking the piss putting bits of paper on thier hats whilst they were drinking. A bit nasty but was well funny.
