Platt Lane was opposite end to Scoreboard end, I remember Scoreboard without a roof and I'm just a pup.(well compared to someone who remembers unroofed Kippax).Platt Lane was roofed in the early 1930's.

Debbie (RIP) did ok back in the 70's.................game as fuck in her Wrangler jacket, and brother I thinkOh yes. Became a firm City fan. But the Kippax was not the most welcoming place for women, especially young ones, let's be honest.
Yep, Just a total different environment we're in now. But from being took by my old fella as a young Kid to eventually going with my mates some of the best times in my life on the Kippax.Absolutely loved being on that terrace, the noise, the smell and falling down 20 steps when we scored. So glad I got to spend many many match days on there.
