I’d like to see proposals for progressive taxation but so far the only thing I hear are cuts.

If it had been 2 months ago then it would be a far more valid point, but a lot has happened in the past 2 years and you can't legislate for the Tories gaslighting us all about the finances - something that has been backed up by official bodies since Reeves gave her speech yesterday.

And it's going to get worse, you are better off not working and not having any savings or a Private or Company pension scheme or owning a house, you would get your Rent and council tax paid along with free care in old age, it's a joke

My Mother in law was widowed on 7/7 (not in the bombings but as a result of Parkinsons). Her husband worked his arse off until his very brief retirement and now she pays a fortune from their pensions for her care and flat in a sheltered accommodation complex... My Mother gets literally everything paid for because she and her late husband, my abusive Stepfather spent all they had on ale and shite... She buys Tat literally daily from her pension because she doesn't have a care
