The Labour Government

He's obviously not gonna be near the Pyramid when it collapses so its all good for him and his Latte.

Me on the other hand have more kids than a Catholic without a Tele so I'm led to believe. Christ knows how much I owe in birthday and Xmas pressies. I have to think of the future. I wonder if they do Leccy Hummers?

If your kids aren't going to work at Costa he just isn't interested ;-)

Jacquie smith was the first to fall to expensegate in 2009 – taxpayers paid for her husband’s porno thrills and almost everything else, literally including the kitchen sink, right down to her 88p bath plug. She resigned and declared in 2012 on Question Time: “I don’t think people who have been disgraced should go to the House of Lords”
Is now sitting in the house of lords , new government more same old jobs for mates
Ancient history that was dealt with 15 years ago and was discussed on here yesterday. She paid back the tenner that was claimed for the porno that was on an itemised bill, and the investigation failed to establish whether her using her sister’s flat as her primary address cost the taxpayer more than if she had used her constituency address as her main residence and rented/bought a second home near Westminster. In the scheme of things it was fairly small and she resigned at the time unlike the myriad of Tories who profited by millions with dodgy Covid contracts.

She also divorced her husband

Is it me or have Labour brought some statesmanship back to our politics?

Quite enjoying this way of governing, almost as if it was always supposed to be like this.

For the most part but not sure Lammy has quite grasped it yet. I watched the news clip of him hugging the Polish Foreign secretary yeaterday… the Polish fella didn’t know what the fuck was happening. Was quite funny and looking forward to him bringing his style to the world stage but I expect he’ll get told to tone it down sadly.

FTSE 100 is, but that tends to be more multinationals which are more susceptible to global affairs.

FTSE 250 is a better indicator of the UK economy as it features more UK companies.

And that’s up almost 3% in the last 5 days.
The pound will be interesting to watch the week.
If it breaks above 1.286 by Thursday then it’ll confirm its bullish trajectory. Certainly for this short/mid-term.
