Every binman i know works for a private company and doesn't do 70hrs a week.Unless of course you happen to believe that they are pretty well paid in the first place and their pay demands were ludicrous. Considering during their careers they end up earning sums the vast majority of us could only dream about? Just a thought.
Perhaps we should pay bin men £100k a year if they all strike and demand £100k a year. Or not perhaps? Then after 1 year of strikes when Labour don't pay it, we can all say "Labour should hang their heads in shame allowing this to continue"? Do you think?
