The Labour Government

WTF?

Is she starting a black KKK next?
I find it bizarre that advocates for critical race theory, the belief that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings, but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour, should feel comfortable referring to themselves as the chosen one, of the first ones.

Isn't she just replacing one social construct, the one with people of colour at the bottom, with another, where, as the chosen ones, of the first ones, people of colour are at the top?

And what about all those bigoted white oppressors she's supposed to represent? What are they? The untermenschen?

The fact she decided to enlighten us all through the medium of African cosplay was a nice touch.

Wasn’t it 35% they wanted?, don’t recall them getting this.

Here nor there really as the cost to the country of continuing strikes was much worse and something the Tories should hang their heads in shame allowing to continue
Unless of course you happen to believe that they are pretty well paid in the first place and their pay demands were ludicrous. Considering during their careers they end up earning sums the vast majority of us could only dream about? Just a thought.

Perhaps we should pay bin men £100k a year if they all strike and demand £100k a year. Or not perhaps? Then after 1 year of strikes when Labour don't pay it, we can all say "Labour should hang their heads in shame allowing this to continue"? Do you think?

How much do bin men get now?

Every binman i know works for a private company and doesn't do 70hrs a week.

Powerful argument right there. I give in.
It does actually make your argument fairly stupid though when most councils have contracted out refuse collection to private companies meaning that bin men don’t get paid directly from the public purse. Not much point the government negotiating with them is there?

I'm sure you're not so incredibly dim to be suggesting that because my straw man mentioned bin men that I mean specifically bin men and only bin men. You cannot be that thick, no-one can.

You are able to engage in conceptual thought, I imagine. Not like trying to explain to Baldrick about some beans and adding some more beans.

The fact you used bin men as your example suggests a certain lack of awareness of how things work. Why didn’t you choose workers that are actually paid directly from tax receipts?
Not me who’s being thick.
