I’m guessing he’s now changed his opinion that thugs should be locked up for 5 or 10 years.
Buses being the primary means of affordable transport for working class folk, and the very workers that Keir professed to protect. I have to say I'm not right keen on this new socialism thingy. Who's next, the disabled?Putting up bus fares 50%. I thought this was a socialist government who wanted to get people working?
I think you need to looked up what socialist means.Putting up bus fares 50%. I thought this was a socialist government who wanted to get people working?

Single bus fares to rise to £3 from £2 in England under new cap
The new limit replaces the existing £2 cap but some have criticised the decision.www.bbc.co.uk

There were huge subsidies put in place following COVID and the CoL crisis. Kept bus companies on the road and made it cheaper for people to move around. If I've read previous government stuff right, the cost of a £2 cap was £500m a year, at £3 it's only £151m. It's proportionately more of a saving because it goes to compensate the bus companies for what they lose on fares. And at £3 that's much closer to what the average commercial fare would be. But costs have soared, particularly on driver wages (Brexit, then Covid meaning Amazon poached bus drivers for driving vans).
Really? It was only 11.50 for a week less than a decade ago. BTW 3 quid there 3 quid back over 5 days days that's 30 quid. There were huge subsidies put in place following COVID and the CoL crisis. Kept bus companies on the road and made it cheaper for people to move around.
‘Twas always coming to an end and even at 3 quid, is a really cheap way of getting around. Used to cost me a fiver a day for my commute, and that was over 15 years ago.
Sure sure course you did.Not too bad, thought there’d be more on the bus fares.
As opposed to your laughable embarrassing posts on a Labour MP assaulting someone then you ran away, Beats your outright lies on your income to defend the WFA.unless you understand the why thats the dumbest post on this page
So, a maximum of a tenner a week extra, in certain areas. Alternatively, they can jump on their bike and do it for free.Really? It was only 11.50 for a week less than a decade ago. BTW 3 quid there 3 quid back over 5 days days that's 30 quid.
Increase fares less travellers, less travellers less money for operators, less money for operators tenders by local govt cost the council more.
Another Tory move by a fake Labour govt.
You following me around again?Sure sure course you did.
