The Labour Government

What I find staggering is that after 14 years in opposition the Labour Party learnt nothing in their time in opposition as to what to expect from the media and how to deal with it. Their personal and collective decision making has been abysmal and has been like a party at the end of its term rather than one just starting it

It's certainly going to be an interesting conversation when the already convicted criminal and sex pest President who is still in office, meets the PM, who has just sacked the unconvicted but possibly implicated by association, Mandelson.

Interesting item by Simon Marks on LBC the other day over the falling out of Trump and Epstein. Apparently it was, according to Trump, that Epstein had stolen some of his staff. Those "staff" were actually young girls who used to frequent Mar Y Lago and included the now deceased Jennifer Dufre.

Child sex offences? Yeah but you know we needed to keep the orange one onside like, the morality of the centrists and some of their supporters on here.

It's becoming quite a list this collateral damage.

The old
The disabled
Kids in gaza
Nonces
Tax evasion
People dying befoe they get there post office money
Shit in the water

I've very likely missed a few

It's the price you pay for low growth and high inflation:-) result.

It's impossible to expect more from Starmer, Johnson or Truss they say. Stop your moaning.

Fucking hell talk about losing any moral argument on here ever again. Well played chaps you're the same as a lot of reform voters turning a blind eye and trying to disguise what a lot of you really are.

Stay strong you could upgrade to the A6 with the sports package next year.

I never argued the Mandelson appointment on moral grounds. I specifically stated there was no morality in the appointment. It was transactional. We employed a devil to deal with the devil and the pros and cons of that decision was debated at the time of the appointment.

You can bemoan that the world is not to your liking, or ran as you would wish, but we still have to deal with the reality of the world we live in and not the comfort of the fantasy world in our heads.

@BobKowalski with his finger on the political pulse yet again

Politics is a dirty game and starmer needs to keep trump sweet till after the state visit

Thank god he's gone it would have been a really bad look to keep him on even with Trump coming

I think Bob just needs to learn to have a little patience, he wouldn't look so laughably hypocritical if he just waited until the pressure gets so much Starmer has to act.

He could then give him the wraparound and pretend that's what ne believed was right all along.

May have misheard, but I’m certain a fella being interviewed on Sky News saying this will be damaging for UK US relations.

So what, it the right thing to do and if Trump isn’t happy, tough shit.

I’d rather our country did the right thing and not appoint someone based on an existing relationship

People should remember that Keir and Peter are close friends of many years. This is not going to go down well with his orange pal either.

It will not as it is effectively a rebuke to Trump and makes a State visit look somewhat ‘awkward’.

That said, I suspect Trump will not give a shit, lap up the visit and return to the US to set fire to the parts that are not burning yet. Bigger fish to fry (literally) and all that.

Your act of having no opinion but just telling it how it is doesn't wash anymore. We all now how it is anyhow we don't need you to tell us.

If you don't want to express an opinion wtf are you doing on a forum?

Anyhow the truth is you defended your man too quickly and now look stupid.

Leaving yourself a get out only works if people believe you, which they don't anyhow , let's move on

It is what it is
It is what it is
It is what it is
It is what it is
It is what it is

zzzzzzzzzzzz

It won't be, Keir will just say he had no choice when he speaks with Trump. Trump is aware of the optics. Trump doesn't give a fuck about anyone including Mandelson. There isn't anyone alive who isnt collateral damage where Trump is concerned.
