The Labour Party

If Boris is so terrible and hated then why doesn't the opposition vote for an election?

They'd win easily surely...?
It's about the timing. If they ousted him now he'd be able to spin it that the opposition were trying to stop him fulfilling the will of the people.

If we are still in on 1st of November, Farage will tear him apart. Tory vote plummets as does Bojo's personal rating.

Then the opposition can pounce.

But where is the evidence of that?

The opinion polls are horrendous on most things on Boris such as trust and more specifically his recent actions.

Despite that though the Tories are still streets ahead in the polls.

I think Labour really fear an election and they fear it because it could kill the whole Corbyn thing. Even the Lib Dems are polling higher than Labour.

Labour will call for an election as soon as an extension of A50 has passed, it’ll be the following morning.

Polls are bollocks. If they were accurate Cameron would still be PM, in a coalition with LibDems and they’d have gone into the arrangement on the basis there’s no referendum.

Polls also expected us to remain, for May to get a majority and for Corbyn to be no longer Labour leader.

They’re wrong almost all the time.

The fucking state of our politics.

When a country and an economy is doing well, politicians are always moderate and reasonable.

When things aren’t going well and the economy has taken a big hit, people go for the extremes.

General rule of thumb.

It’s a blame culture.

I sadly suspect that the polls are failing to account for the growing hordes of poorly informed idiots and morons who have taken up a passing interest in politics. The simpletons who were completely detached for centuries but have been woke by social media and fed a view on topics they barely understand. A wall of stupid has arisen like a zombie army and it can not be predicted.

A good example of that is the last US presidential election. The polls on the day suggested Hilary would win 80% of the votes...

Who you fooling? Which part am I lying about, going out with my wife and having a lovely evening or the taking her to bed bit?
I did say evening. I was out from 6pm and didn’t get home until around 9:30pm, a nice meal and a few drinks.
Stop being a hater just because you could probably only manage a wank and a pot-noodle.

A wank and a pot noodle is not to be sniffed at.

5.4% above what was expected as the natural death rate as people get old. It has meant average life expectancy has fallen below much of the West. As the 5/6th largest economy in the world, that is pretty unacceptable, but I accept there may be other reasons, what is certain in mind is that austerity has not helped matters.

Everyone is fatter. That’s why.

Actually the two diggest risers are male mortality in the 90+ age ranhe and infant mortaloty that has been rising steadily since 2015.

Infant mortality and the fact we don't even seem to report on it is a big worry.

Add also that the birth rate has plummeted since 2014.

Is that because no one can afford a house so having kids later? That’s my theory?!

No they're not.

And Labour aren't scared of a GE, especially with the support of the snp which will be 50 seats. They're just biding their time, waiting until the buffoon can't screw them over and he's ran out of his bullshit options.

Anyway, who are the fbpe lot going to vote for now their (new) party are effectively a no deal party whilst Corbyn is the leader of the opposition?

I genuinely think the polls had something to do with Trump winning. The old bitch thought she had it in the bag and got too relaxed.

I say bitch not out disrespect for women generally, more that she’s a fucking evil fucker.

I can't argue with that. The arrogance, as well as current denial she lost is still apparent today. Like a child who had her favourite toy taken away. South Park nailed it with their parody of the election of Douchebag against Shit Sandwich.

South Park usually do nail it.

A broken clock is right twice a day, in Trump’s case less often, but he was bang on about her.

Jess Phillips faces a trigger ballot tomorrow. If she loses Boris will have a quiet weekend in media.

Knifed in the front no less.

I can see her going full Trump if she's deselected. Blaming left wing anti Semites sent in by Corbyn to destroy her.

Her constituents are pissed off that she turns ups for local photo ops, then fucks off to do her London media commitments over any actual work.

Her gob on a stick act will go ballistic, but if her CLP think she is doing a bad job and get rid of her then tough shit, its their prerogative.
