20 mins suggests he's never made that journey apart from by helicopter.

That is why I am depressed about what is happening in this country. I am worried not for myself, I doubt I'll be here for the election after this one, but for the younger generations. Especially my grandchildren and great-grandchildren.An embarrassing evening for Labour and indeed all the mainstream parties, but perhaps also a timely reminder to them all that they cannot take the system for granted. One would hope that knowing the GE is in the offing and knowing that the public is sick of scandals, the parties would have their houses in order and be vetting and putting forward candidates of greater calibre. However, with the attraction of serving the same public diminishing by the year, I fear the bottom of the barrel hasn't been reached.
I'll still always associate the fedora with Big Mal, though.
We have no one in politics or authority who is strong enough to get us back on an even keel. It would take more than one person I know, it would take the whole country to want to get back to a fully decent society. The silent majority/minority whatever it is needs to become more vocal and proactive. In my humble opionion. :-)

Galloway is an absolute prick. Bring on the GE.By-elections are normally protest votes and can be vastly different from Generals.
