Tune.
Should be used for the English anthem at Rugby etc.

Most people do already.
Doesn't stop the 4 hour contracts or 8 hour contracts, though does it. As most retail are.
Many on zero hours don’t though.
I used to work in that environment, as a manager, and I quite often had to have difficult phone calls with people to tell them their shifts were cancelled. It wasn’t the main reason I left but it was a major one.
Nein!
You will work the hours we specify, to cover all areas we require!
It just shows a general lack of knowledge from the halfwit right, the usual suspects have done it for years. It just shows that us Lefties are the grown ups now and that they fear us mate.
They cant criticise Corbyn for his policies because deep down they know he has produced some excellent stuff and they hate it because they are so entrenched in their nutjobbery. Their hero has proved to be useless and it hurts, the right on here are the new Man United, we are City and we will go on to victory ;)
Sounds like my place, tbh.Very similar their the ones who are told they are not needed when things are slow. Know someone who was promised 4 days but they only got her in on Saturday when they were busy, for less than 40 quid
As per because the mood and comments were becoming positive and optimistic the usual suspects come on amd tey to derail the thread with childlile nonsense
You see on the tory thread us lefties go on and debate and also criticise, but we stay on topic.
If you cannot answer why labours proposals today are not good for the people of the UK, fair enough, just admit it.
I watched Corbyn's speech and was quite impressed. Not sure its all deliverable but it was promising and very upbeat ( helps not to have been caught paying a tart you were knobbing out of public funds and been caught lying to the Queen ) and as I watched I imagined the usual suspects on here typing about Marxism, the sky falling in, there is no other path than the one we are on and so on and so on - I am not disappointed as catching up I see the Pavlovian responses are there.
Marxism not mentioned, neither is the sky falling in and no mention of paths.
Why do you constantly feel the need to make shit up you political fucking loon?
Because I'm a small business owner and (this) Labour don't have a bloody clue what it's like just trying to survive in business.
I'm a Director and sole shareholder of a Corporation that employs staff. To the hard left that means I'm a rich fat-cat exploiting the workers.
When in fact, I work probably 60 plus hours each week (earning probably just over minimum wage after paying income tax & Corporation tax)), have no holidays, no sick pay and give someone else the means to earn a living so that they can provide for their family.
Give it time a couple of regulars haven't logged on yet ;-)
Manufacturing is going to go through the most rapid transformation to AI in the near future, there won’t be people doing manufacturing jobs very soon and retail could likely go the same way.
A 4 day week doesn’t mean 3 days no one is there. I would be happy for the working time directive to be brought down from 48 hours gradually. I think people should have the option to restrict the number of hours/days they work.
That's a fob off answer - I work for a manufacturer and although the lines are automated, there are engineers, cleaners & technical staff always on the line. If they are not there the line does not run. Although there are fewer retail staff in stores we are a long way off a staff free retail experience. None of that makes for a 'shorter working hours = more productivity'. It's just not deliverable in the short term.
Yes but if pay is increased by 20% to cover the missing day as proposed, who is going to foot this bill?
The WTD is more nonsense that at least we have an opt out for. No-one should work 48 hours a week, but this makes it illegal to do so. Even if you want to and feel you are capable of it! You claim it's an option to restrict, we already have that option. We are removing the option to work more if you want to.
Gutted again - if only I had been a bit sharper and seen you response I would not have missed opportunity for my gob to be smackedHe's on now on BBC Parliament.
I don’t agree with removing the option to work more, is this the policy? I think a reduction to the wtd staggered would be a fine idea.

I will just have to get over my disappointment
The Labour Party.
A collection of Britain's biggest village idiots led by an escaped mental patient.
I despair for the country I love if this rabble ever get power again.
