Farage will be nursing a semi as another group of abandoned voters need to find a political home..... and you don't think that the Labour followers on here don't appear exactly the same way to those who don't support Labours way of doing things...? fair enough.

It's the classic old trick, leak it out there, watch the reaction then readjust the plans... the oldest trick in the book on all sides.
What we were originally going to get was radically scaled back when they saw the reaction of back bench MP's.
Nothing new here, governments have been doing this for years. Oh but it does call into question Starmer's bottle or backbone, because with the sizeable majority he has, if he'd had the guts he could have done what he originally wanted to.
