Can't we just use this thread to say Well done Leicester City for an absolutely remarkable achievement.

Well done to Ranieri, their players,
Congratulations to everyone involved and to the fans enjoy the moment and the game at the weekend! Party time!!!'

This is a fantastic story and definitely stakes a claim for being the greatest story in British football.

However, as a City fan, no story will top this..

It's a shit rule change, especially for clubs like us who have worked hard over the years to increase our coefficient.
Rubbish, a countries champions should be in the first seeds, that it didn't happen for us is tough luck that the rules didn't allow it.

I doubt Leicester will benefit from it, as there will be many teams better than them in lower pots.

Congratulations to Leicester, a truly phenomenal achievement. If it couldn't be us, and it quite clearly couldn't be, then I'd much rather them than Spurs.

Congrats to Leicester they've shown a phenomenal work ethic and mentality to turn themselves around from the team they were 18 months ago to where they are now with not much investment. I think there time at the top will be short lived but the Leicester fans won't care one bit, they've won the league from nowhere and they'll enjoy at least 6 Champions league games next season. Their fans are probably gutted about being in pot 1 really as they avoid what is likely to be a once in a lifetime game against one of the champions league elite teams.

Not wanting to belittle their achievements in any way but having said all of that it only goes to show what an absolute disaster of a season the "big teams" have had this season. Chelsea the worse champions ever, United spending obscene money on total shite and getting no closer, Arsenal further stagnating despite having the best chance they've had for years to win the league and us possibly the worst of the lot. The best team on paper by some distance yet haven't looked like we'd be even close to being champions since September largely due to the incompetence of our manager an the boards desperation not to rock the boat by sacking him around Christmas when it became clear he hadn't a clue, instead choosing to essentially sacrifice this season for next season when Pep arrives. The only other big team that can say they had a good go and have had a good season is Spurs as they're still a very young side with an excellent manager and you can only see them getting stronger next season.
