In hindsight you can say that but I'd imagine when they were originally inserted into the contracts they were a long way off being Premier League champions.

Vardy signed a new contract quite recently didn't he? Presumably his people wouldn't budge on a release clause.

Ive just spat my tea all over my phone! Honest, this entire thread is an embarassment to your club! Anyone reading, can virtually smell the simmering jealousy and begrudging contempt that oozes from its words. You really need to get over it mate. You are trying to establish yourselves as one of the elite, shaking off the image of the bloke fown the road, the likable, funny one. The one who then wed the bosses daughter, and landed a job in sales, and now has dissapeared up his own arse, cos he has a company 3 series BMW on the drive. Its noticable though, that the rusting 02 Mondeo is still parked round the back, by the wheelie bins.

Great story coming out of Thailand.

Last week Leicester arrived here in Bangkok, and had a "Victory Parade" attended by "thousands of local fans"

It has now been revealed by the local media, that these "fans" were paid for the privilege of attending.

The fans received 300 baht ( 10GBP) got free t-shirt and flag.

I have lived over here for the best part of 10 years and in that time could count the sight of Leicester fans/shirts on one finger.

Only just seen this post.

It is very true, a good friend of mine (Leeds fan) lives and works in Bangkok, he told of me of two ladies we both know (professionals, not bargirls) that were paid to wear leicester shirts and attend the parade, but they follow lolerpool and manyoo and always have done. They both said however that Leicester will be their #1 team now, until the other side wins again!

The thing is, Thais are not like us, we have one team and will always stick with it, they are fickle as fuck and tend to follow winners, the ownership connection is a huge bonus for them.

Anyways, fuck it, the fairytale is great for the image of the game, I'm not remotely bothered how they did it, I'd only question it if the usual suspects won it the way they did !

we also have a lot of naive ones who know fuck all about the game of football,as opposed to the sky sports package presented to them.

if you even stopped ,one moment, to ask yourself how jamie fox increased his running power and shooting accuracy,at the age of 29 years of age, and how danny simpson is now faster than keith curle in his prime, to name but two examples,you would eventually cotton onto the fact that the issues being quite rightly discussed on this thread are on a higher level than your own brain washed simpleton approach.
try thinking outside the box for once pal, it worked for the fortunate foxes wise owner.

Well, that was a predictable reply. I've read mosts posts on this thread, I've come to the conclusion that until anything is proven agaisnt Leicester for performance enhancing, I'll have a huge amount of respect for what they did this season, best team I see at the etihad. I don't see how city fans could be so bitter about Leicester winning the league. It's better than probably just about any other team apart from us winning the title. Until it's proven they've been taking enhancements you can come back on here and call me a simpleton, I'll gladly take it too.
