For any lurking Leicester fans, Malty really doesn't represent the Manchester City fanbase...

Whether we like it or not, over the season Leicester have been the better team. The 'Tinkerman' has turned them into a different side after Pearson. And I welcome it. Good luck to them - if it can't be us lifting the Prem trophy at the end at least it isn't the rags, chavs or spuds...I'd want to bloody emigrate if the Spuds won it.

Besides, we put them to the sword back in '69 courtesy of Nellie so let them have their moment in the limelight.

Leicester will win the league which is very embarrassing for the Premier League as a whole. How did the top clubs let this happen!? with the money spent this shouldn't never be allowed to happen.

Can't stand that smug **** Vardy lifting the trophy. Might turn off from football for awhile and watch a "proper man's" sport ala Rugby.

I only look forward to Leicester getting smashed around next season by the likes of Barca and Bayern to bring them down to earth.. they are not a top team so don't get use to it. Wouldn't be shocked if they are fighting relegation next season and it is like.. what was the point!? they have to compete on 2 fronts next season and have CL distractions.

Sometimes it is better for a club to build up to getting into the CL, to be fully prepared, not to get humiliated/embarrassed by the best teams. Yeah well done Leicester, but the positive is they won't have long to celebrate (seeing that smug/arrogant Vardy) before people's attention turns to the European Championships and then next season. It will be very short-lived as if they are struggling next season nobody will say "oh well they had a good season last season" football fans have short memories.

I prefer Forest's story it was back when football was still a working man's sport, and there was more romance in football, more characters.
Good grief.

What a sad fucker you are.

Why is it embarrassing? Who is embarrassed and to whom are they showing such shame? I wont be embarrassed if Leicester win the league in the slightest, and if anyone truly is, they need to have a long hard look at themselves as to why they feel embarrassed and the people they are embarrassed about this to.

Dont like the result, so going to watch another sport, very raggish, heard this from a number of their fans along with 'football isnt what it used to be, I am going off it'.

Should Leicester win the league they wont be facing Barca or Bayern, unless they get out of their group, as they will be in pot 1. Should they win the league and get out of the group, to be 'brought back down to earth' by Barca or Bayern, in no way will they have 'embarrassed' or 'humiliated' themselves, to use your frankly absurd turn of phrase, they will have done very well and helped our countries European coefficient better than some clubs in recent seasons.

You have little comprehension of the Leicester fan mentality, I have a good friend who is a match going Leicester fan, and he acknowledges that this season is a near perfect storm for them, under performing bigger teams and their luck with injuries. He says they are likely to be bottom half next season, almost certainly if Kante and Mahrez leave, and it would be 'typical' Leicester for them to go down next season. He doesnt care, should they win the league he will have that to savour, he never thought it could get better than their league cup wins, they acknowledge they arent a long term threat to us, he keeps saying to me, just let us have this one, it wont ever happen again. Their fans havent been arrogant or acting like its done, like some of the other club's fans in recent seasons. I really dont see what the problem is with them having their day in the sun. My mate doesnt care that others wont remember it in a season or 2, he will, forever, much like we will remember 2012 forever.

As for other fans of other teams remembering their success (its frankly an absurd suggestion this is anyway important in the first place) why would these 'neutrals' remember a Spurs or Arsenal win anymore? They wont, they would more likely remember Leicester winning it at odds of 5000/1 far more.

Much like you preferred Forest's story, I preferred when Bluemoon had a better sense of perspective, it wasnt so arrogant and dismissive of other teams abilities and efforts, when there was more honesty and realism amongst the posters and there were more characters.
