Haha, you've got a better memory than me mate. I knew they'd got away with a shit load, especially after Moureens whinge about refs. I'd love to see a comparison of what we haven't been given compared to what Leicester have. I'll qualify that with saying I honestly don't think we have done enough to win the league or deserve to win it, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be a lot closer.

Leicester are far enough clear that it doesn't really matter, but spurs clearly benefited from disgraceful refereeing decisions in both games against us this season and that's a 12 point swing that would put us 5 points ahead of them (if they win tomorrow).

12 point?

Yeah, they gained 6 points and took 6 points away from us? We are 6 points behind them but if it wasn't for corrupt officiating we would be 6 clear of them.

Doesn't work like that mate. We weren't deducted points, we just didn't win them.

Yes it does work like that! Come on... Think about it.

We would have 6 more points, and they would have 6 less. So how many points would each team be on?

You can do it!

If we'd done the double on them, instead of them on us, we'd now be 8 points infront of them, not 4 behind. A 12 point swing. That's how important the games against closest rivals are, which makes our not beating anyone in the top 8 absolutely suicidal.

If we won both games we'd be +6 points while spurs would be -6. So we'd have +6 on everyone else in the league and +12 on those cunts.

I wonder how many of the bottom half teams attempt a Leicester next year. I have a feeling 5 or 6 sides down there might attempt to mimic Leicester's play style next year. Buying young players who will run for 90 minutes, wouldn't surprise me if a lot focus on fitness training all summer and then make sure they have a couple of creative players up front to make the difference.
young players who will run for 90 mins??
vardy wes and huth are senior pros, running harder and faster than they ever were in their younger days.
not sure how old the pfa player of the year is but i doubt he is young. the ex villa winger, who was shit at villa can now run for days....that pre season in Austria must have been a hell of a boot camp. organised and set up by Nigel Pearson, until he got sacked, and Raineri took over and carried on the incredibly difficult pre season training fitness camp which got them so fit and fast, and helped them avoid injury, even though they were running so hard and so fast.

Haha I get your point but the majority of their outfield players in running positions (not defence) are relatively young:

Albrighton 26
Mahrez 25
Kante 25
Drinkwater 26
Schlupp 23

Although like you indicate its almost suspicious how much some of them have improved:

Simpson
Huth
Morgan
Fuchs
Albrighton
Vardy
Okazaki
and less so Kante, Mahrez and Drinkwater

The first 6 in particular have played nowhere near the level they have done for most of their careers and most are at ages where you wouldn't expect a dramatic improvement. Be interesting if the performances fall off a cliff next year thats for sure. Riyad Mahrez couldn't even get a game last year...now he's player of the year!

I've never seen stats like it before in terms of possession... just taking yesterday for example, only 38% possession yet they win 4-0!!

That's a bit like only buying a lottery ticket once a year but getting the jackpot every time!
