I've never seen stats like it before in terms of possession... just taking yesterday for example, only 38% possession yet they win 4-0!!
Possession doesn't always win football matches though, being able to break at speed when you win the ball, and then clinical in front of goal does.

If you analyse our season, we've probably had more chances than anyone, but have been pretty poor in front of goal, despite (currently) being top scorers once again, we also have the 4th best defence, and the most clean sheets.

Leicester have made the most of their chances, and their luck, and that's why they are deservedly ahead.

People pointing out Leicester's possession stats. When you hoof the ball and then chase it I doubt you have much of the ball

re Morgan, saw a bit of MOTD last night and there was a moment when ,on the left hand side of leics midfield, the ball ran loose, and Morgan went into overdrive and sprinted to reach it first.
ive never seen an over 30 year old cover the ground so quickly.wow

I thought it was just me! He got there at the same time as Montero!

Is there any evidence whatsoever that they are cheating? All I have seen is they are fit therefore they must be cheating.
Is there any evidence that they are fitter? What are the stats for km per match? Are they miles different to anyone elses , the most successful team might be a bit better without cheating.

Leicester remind me very much of Everton when they finished 4th. They weren't spectacular, attritional, hard to beat, while the likes of Cahill and Bent took the chances upfront. They won so many games 1-0, without being particularly good even. Leicester have been the same, although more consistent, and with a bit more quality in Mahrez. I know the bigger teams have failed mostly, but Leicester have only lost 3 games, twice to Arsenal, and away to Liverpool. They've had a freak season. Drinkwater, De Leat, and Simpson were Utd rejects, Okazaki was just a punt signing from a midtable German team, Kante was one of those gamble type signings that more often then not fail, but he's been great. Ranieiri too. Sacked by Greece, and couldn't win the title with Chelsea, Valencia, Inter, and Roma, but he's probably going to win it with Leicester. Maybe it helps him with less egos and no high maintenance players in the dressing room, no one to challenge him, and he can implement his ideas and tactics, without the fear of player power. He's probably been the most high profile manager to manage some of those players, so they have more respect for him. Some managers have the knack of getting the maximum out of smaller teams, but struggle at bigger ones.

got the balance right and the big teams haven't been at the races. They have two in midfield who run their bollocks off and hardly ever give it away, pace in attack plus a big man waiting to come on if they need him. a back four that does nothing but defend and a decent keeper. Plus luck and lack of injuries.

I think they've basically copied Mourinho's ideals. I don't think Ranieri's come in with any kind of master plan, I think he set them up to be solid and stay in the league and when the wins came and the confidence grew they just kept going and watching all the usual contenders slip up. Ranieri reminds me of when Sven was at City, just keep the players happy and confident and they'll play well.

Plus they haven't come out of nowhere they did win something like 7 out of 8 at the back end of last season, the confidence they must have taken out of that having been bottom.

Did I read somewhere that every team next season gets minimum 100M?

Other teams can and will. Maybe not winning the league, but I think it may be the end of a fixed big four.

With your long-term planning and Guardiola there in the near future, I think you lot are the only sure things really (and Arsenal as long as Wenger is there as while they won't win the title, they know how to win 4th place).

I've worked with a few Spurs fans down the years, usually when I've been working away in London. I've never hidden my hatred for them but tbf they usually take it with good grace.
I once kept two of them 90ft up in a cherry picker in the centre of Birmingham in the pissing down rain on a Sunday afternoon. I refused to take them down until they had sang a chorus of Chas n Dave whilst doing a little cockney dance. They lasted about 10 minutes before they cracked.

A beautiful story. 10 minutes? No moral fibre. Those cunts can fuck off - oh lordy I hate that club and its so-called fans - I hate them even more when they sing that 'orrible, smug, slow "Oh.....when....the....Spurs..." shite. Gaarghhh...

Just fuck off Totnumb. Just so sweet that they have blown it...almost.. A horrible, horrible club with even worse fans....worse than the Dippers but 2nd to the rags on my all time hate list.
