I think if you go to games at Anfield you will find a different story. Last season they hammered us at Anfield , we walked back to the car had a good chat with several fans with no problems at all. Some said they were pleased for us.
Dickheads on every forum but most match going Liverpool fans are ok.
Good post. I had a good time at Anfield last year (apart from the result). All Liverpool fans I talked to that night were OK.

Who's going to be to blame when they come nowhere near winning the title? They've got the best players, the best manager and their owner is giving the best manager the funds to buy the best players. Who're those scousers going to scapegoat?

Hicks and Gillet, Hillsbourough, Heysel and Hodgson

Do Scousers really have the larger /domestic/ fanbase?

Probably but I don't think the gap is very big like it is between us and the rags/Arsenal. I think Liverpool could fill a 60,000 seater for many of their games.

Countrywide I would say easily. If they did a nationwide survey of football fans I am sure rags and Liverpool would be miles ahead.

Of course its all down to periods of non stop success.

Re: RAWK

he said it was a decision he made which was beneficial to him and it was the first time in 20 yrs of football he had done this.
i think the stress of hillsborough helped him make the decision, and not the fact they drew 4-4 with everton in the fa cup.... yet surprisingly he joined blackburn as their manager later that year !
