The Media Against Pep?

The press is against every manager on a bad run. Today's it's Pep, I reckon by the end of January it will be Klopp. As much as we hate baconface he banned every reporter he didn't like. At the time I was stunned and thought he was an arrogant prick (I still think he's that btw) but on reflection let's do the same, every cnut who writes lies gets banned, it will be empty for a while but let's just show them we will not be messed with. The press need us more than we need them, let's deal with them in the same any company deals with someone who slags them off.

Bad run? We've won 4 out of the last 5

I totally agree mate. As I've said, I don't think United being the most successful club and being the club that exerted most pressure and contol over the media, are completely unrelated facts. Clearly there's more to it than just that, but their media relations strategy was imho a contributing factor in their success on the pitch. And, I might add, in the success of their brand.

This is what I don't get. They're saying the pressure of doing business badly is getting to him. We're not doing badly at all, in fact we've made a pretty decent start to the season.

It's just that everyone else is at it, especially Chelsea at the moment.

Chelsea's form is making everyone else look bad when usually with 42 points in 20 games we would be right in the mix. The run is good at the moment. Performances still hit and miss but we are getting wins and that's what matters. If we can win the next 2 and that's a big IF we then have some very winnable games coming up albeit it the likelyhood of only 5 games in the prem in the next 2 months if the rags get to the final of the League cup.

Chelsea actually have Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool in their next 5 so that should give a good indication after that as to whether they will piss the league or not.

The Mirror has put one piece online that is taken from a supposed body language expert....you couldn't make this shite up. The hatchet job is out in force and is one that was being discussed while back

They want him to fail, and be able to say that English football won.

Nope, they want him to fail because he didn't join one of the sky 4

The press will be the ones who will look silly in the end. Take names, remember the comments by some of these people and when Pep gets his team together remind these clueless idiots at the stupid comments they made in the passed. Ridicule them like they they others.

Fully agree with this.

Normally 4 wins out of 5 should be getting you very close to the summit if you were already in the top 4 but everyone else keeps getting results. All the top 6 are winning regularly.

Last 5 games:

Chelsea 15
Rags 15
Liverpool 13
Us 12
Spurs 12
Arsenal 9

Very consistent from everyone bar Arsenal.
