The new young guvnors book

Surprised no one has commented on the female on the picture!

I know her, she said she was just walking past and got in the picture, so just to confirm we have no female members in our 'firm'.
 
Have to spill this. Pretty sure the black fella at front was sporting an even more dreadful top near the Sacred Heart at Villa last week ; think it said 'young guvnors' - I was wearing no colours myself and with a younger fella in toe think they thought I was Chelsea ! I would hav stopped for a chat but I was laughing uncontrolably at his t shirt - please can anyone confirm if it was a dare ?
 
What are the requirements of being in a firm?

Do you have to be genuinely good at fighting, or just able to get drunk and be comfortable in acting like a cocky prick when there's 30 lads all around you, willing to back you up?

I'd give it a go for one day, one of these organised firm meeting things.
One condition though - if weapons are allowed then can I bring my Samurai Sword please Guvnor?

Am I led to believe that there are still people who carry on with this sort of malarkey in this day and age?

Do they know that we are not living in the 70's or 80's any more and the world has moved on?

A colleague brought the earlier version into work. I tried reading a few pages, and it was terrible.
