Heartbroken to see his departure from us, will be missed greatly. Gave everything for us and will leave here a champion, a legend and just a top top guy through and through. Sad how it's worked out but he goes with my best wishes, all the best Nige!

Just read his Twitter page thanking the fans.

Still gutted. Fits in well for Holland and they play like us.

Such a shame. I always felt happier with NDJ on the pich closing a game out.

Every time I think about this transfer I just feel like shit. Not felt this bad about a transfer in ages.

Since Shauny went to Chelsea. I felt less bad after some relationships with girls had ended than I did about Shauny leaving.
 
Completely gutted. Can understand why with the contract situation but I still would have liked it to be sorted and for him to stay. Mistake in my eyes.
 
such a shame to see the beast leave, absolutely gutting. seeing him in that milan kit makes me feel sick. always be a hero in my eyes. can we please get this going v qpr in recognition for his services......all together
